Gift bags

As i am designing for the card market, i wanted to also make my own gift bags for the show. These are the three designs that i am going to use and the colour ribbon i will use.

Stationery

As i wanted to see how my designs would look in context, i used Illustrator to show how they could be displayed. I began by drawing the products with the pen tool and added my designs then used clipping masks. I think that these look good and fit the idea which i am trying to put across, so i would like to make some actual products like this for my final show.

Coordinating designs

Again i felt that i still had plenty of time left so i went back to my bean collection and decided to add some coordinating designs. I was going to do another mini collection but i thought that this would be the best use of my time, not only does it broaden out my collection but i also already had the motifs, so i wasn't wasting time drawing. The theme for this design was 'School', i think that it would look good on a series of stationery products as school is most likely where it will be used, especially as my target market is that age.

Edible glitter...

I had an adventure to York and came across a cake decorating shop, i had to resist buying everything in there, but i did come away with some edible purple glitter. I think that it is my new favourite thing, i think i might just put it on all my dinners!Seeing as i had this new glitter, obviously i had to make some cakes. Google taught me how to make icing flowers and then i sprinkled the glitter on top, they tasted pretty yummy too, chocolate chip with green butter icing.
